Xue Dong is an educator and designer. She obtained her MS Degree in industrial design field in Auburn University. As the full-time faculty in East Stroudsburg University (ESU) Art + Design department, Xue’s teaching responsibilities include 3D design and product design field.

Xue maintains current activity as an industrial designer and she is an active member of IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America). Before joining the ESU, she has a wide ranging professional experience. she holds patents for two products which are: an anti-fall infusion support and a child’s shower system. As an engineer, she focused on tooling and injection molding field in toolCare-US International ranging from automotive, housewares, and medical devices. Her customers include Tesla, Nissan, Kohler, and Briggs and Stratton. Her research interest involves aesthetic consciousness, aesthetic recognition improvement, design for manufacturing.
